Digital Wellness

computer, addiction, help

Simple fact– most of us and our kids are on screens way too much.

And Cov-d has made it worse, way worse.

I recently invited Digital Wellness expert, Nicole Rawson from Screen Time Clinic, to come as a guest speaker and give a presentation to my group of parents.

Her presentation covered many interesting facts regarding too much screen-time, including:

  • Kiddos may not be actually learning to the degree we think they are
  • The billion dollar gaming-tech industry designs programming to be addictive
  • Too much screen-time interrupts natural biological functioning
  • Too much screen-time may be causing developmental delays
  • Too much screen-time is ruining families
  • It is too easy for kiddos to accidentally get into the dark corners of the internet
  • Screen-time is stealing play and authentic creativity
  • Screen-time is stealing precious quality time from families being together
  • How much screen-time is too much screen time…?
-Generally, just a little screen-time is too much screen-time.
  • **And so many other reasons exist for the negative side of too much screen-time.
    It is truly devastating.

??? What have you noticed with too much screen-time with your family?

>>> One of the best ways to get your family’s control back from under the spell of screens is by getting an expert to help your family come up with an official plan. Having someone who is a neutral “bad guy” can make all the difference in the world.

Screen-time is an addiction for so many families and they need intervention!

If this is your case then you are encouraged to empower yourself by reaching out to someone who can help you get your family back.

This applies to our children of course! But it also applies to us!
